People come from around the world to enjoy our hospitality and visit the whales that abound in Head Harbour Passage and offshore.The endangered Northern Right Whale comes here each year to feed and raise their young and there is a Right Whale Sanctuary off Grand Manan. Tankers may have to pass through this to reach the LNG terminals.
